New Flotilla 12-7 Quad City News Letter Launched
Joey Vance, FSO-PB, 082-12-07, recently announced DIRAUX approval of a newsletter to be published by 12-7. The new publication is called the The Quad City Coastie Courier and is to be published monthly.
Congrats' to Joey on his successful launch and many thanks for his efforts! The following article is an excerpt from the newsletter's August edition.
THE FIRST ISSUE OF THE QUAD CITY COASTIE COURIER HAS SAILED:
The first issue of The Quad City Coastie Courier (QCCC) is behind us. I hope all enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun putting the first issue together, but I must admit that I had some great support and editorial help. I would like to recognize Bob Bruce and Rick Washburn for their technical help as well as their moral support. Also, a special thanks to Carol Turley DSO-PB for her editorial review, advice, and words of wisdom as she helped me to shape a lot of the content. Finally, thank you, to all of you who emailed me your kind words of support and appreciation upon receipt of the QCCC. I’ll do my best to continue developing quality and consistent content. At any time a member has information that they would like included in the QCCC, please, do not hesitate to contact me.
